We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team as an independent contributor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, and expertise in dbt (data build tool). This role is critical in building, optimizing, and maintaining our data pipelines and ensuring seamless integration with our analytics platforms to support business intelligence and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to process and transform data for analytics and reporting.
• Implement and optimize data models using dbt to enhance performance and maintain data consistency.
• Manage and maintain data warehousing solutions on Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Perform data analysis to support business insights and guide decision-making processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of all data processes and systems.
• Work independently to deliver high-impact solutions within agreed timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in ETL tools and methodologies, with hands-on experience in modern data platforms.
• Expertise in dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Extensive experience working with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and BI tools.
• Familiarity with insurance domain and Guidewire is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an independent contributor with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
